Extremely rare 1900-1930s Saput Songket Endek, ceremonial body wrapper, silk with stripes of ikat alternating with supplementary silver weft patterning on narrow purple and yellow silk bands. Top and bottom border is a blue silk lining with silver brocade pattern. Natural and chemical dyes. Bali people, Buleleng, North Bali, Indonesia. Condition: Many holes all meticulously stitched on new cotton backing attached.
