Very rare and early 1870-1920 Sarong Batik Tulis Biron, woman's tube skirt, handspun cotton with wax resist hand-drawn patterns of pecuk rebung in central panel and winding tendrils of dark blue on whitish blue and blue crackled background on body section. Red cotton-silk borders. All natural dyes, Javanese, Kerek, Tuban, northeast Java, Indonesia. 
Condition: Several small holes and fraying on red border. Purchased from Indonesian Collector Jakarta 2016.
