1950-60s Tok Wi, ceremonial altar frontal apron, cotton with hand drawn wax resist pattern of Daoist ba-kua symbol and three qilins  with Chinese auspicious characters from the Yijing (Book of Changes) - 元亨利貞 Yuan Heng Li Zhen.  All natural dyes.  Peranakan people, Lasem. north coast Java, Indonesia.
